لقد تمت الدراسة على عينات الدم المحيطى المسحوب من المرضى و الأشخاص السليمين.
و قد أشملت الدراسة على 25 عينة، 15عينة من المرضى المصابين بحمى التفونيد و ضمن الفئة العمرية 35— 45 سنة، و عشرة عينات لأشخاص سليمين (كسيطرة) و ضمن الفئة العمرية نفسها.
عزل المصاب لقياس الفعالية و الفعالية النوعية للإنزيم قيد الدراسة و قد أظهرت النتائج وجود ارتفاع معنوي في الفعالية، و الفعالية النوعية للإنزيم في عينات المرضى موازنة بالسيطرة.
