Abstract EN

This study aims at analyzing the relationship between self-esteem and students' aca- demic achievement at the Police Sciences Academey in Sharja Emirate, UAE.

The study aims, also, at disclosing the deferences of self-esteem levels acording to nationality, and students' educational level variables.

The survey questionnaire was dis- tributed to (140) students that consist the population of the study.

The overall main findings of the study were: 1- The relationship between self-esteem ( independent variable) and academic achievemet (dependent variable), were found to be significant.

2- There were no significant differences of the students' self-esteem levels and na- tionality and students' educational levels varaibles.

Furthermore, the study came up with recommendations that concentrate on the im- portance of identifying students' self-esteem for its effects on students' academic achievement.
