The present study deals with a basic phenomenon of Arabic morphology, leaving the original form of a word for its branch.

That is, a word original form, which is no longer used by native speakers of Arabic, is replaced with a branch form which is acceptable and commonly used.

As a matter of fact, most issues and topics of morphology revolve around leaving the original for the branch form for the purpose of facilitating pronunciation of words.
