Abstract AR

Abstract EN

In this paper, an efficient and simple algorithm is developed for the solution of universal Lambert’s problem.

The algorithm based on iterative scheme which converges for all conic motion (elliptic, parabolic, or hyperbolic).

Moreover, the involved transcendental Stumpff’s functions are evaluated efficiently using series and recursion formulae.

Applications to the algorithm are also given.
