Abstract EN

In Babylon A study of 5 cases with complete transient bilateral loss of vision associated with imminent eclampsia and after eclamptic fits was done.

The age group varied from 16year to 35year.

Parity from primigravida to para seven.

Duration of vision loss was 24 hours in three patients and five days for the other two patients, which was not reported in books.

All patients admitted to hospital for investigations and management.

No previous illnesses reported such as hypertension diabetes mellitus or renal disease before pregnancy.
