درست خواص وقود زيت الصويا النقي و استر اثيلي زيت الصويا و الجازولين و خلط ايستر ايثيلي زيت الصويا مع الجازولين بنسب 55 : 45، 35 : 65، 75 : 25، 85 : 15 على أساس الحجم على التوالي.

قورنت خواص اللزوجة و الكثافة النسبية و حرارة الاختراق و نقطة السحب و التدفق و نقطة الوميض و محتوى الرماد و متبقي الكربون لهذه الزيوت مع الجازولين لدراسة مدى توافقها عند الاستخدام في ماكينات الاحتراق بالضغط.

وجد أن خواص استر ايثيلي زيت الصويا متقاربة مع خواص الجازولين كما وجد أن خليط استر اثيلي زيت الصويا مع الجازولين متقاربة جدا بينما تنحرف الخواص عن خواص الجازولين عند استخدام نسب أعلى من الخليط.

Abstract EN

The characteristics fuel properties of refined soybean oil, soybean ethyl ester, diesel as well as diesel - soybean ethyl ester blends in the proportions of 85 : 15, 75 : 25, 65 : 35, and 55 : 45 (v/v) respectively were studied.

The viscosity, relative density, heat of combustion, cloud and pour point, flash point, ash content, carbon residue and acid values were compared with diesel to study their compatibility as compression ignition engine fuel.

The characteristic fuel property of soybean ethyl ester was found to be close to that of diesel.

As well the fuel properties of diesel–soybean ethyl ester blends were also found to be close to that of diesel and deviate from diesel when higher proportions of soybean ethyl ester was blended with diesel.
