English Abstract

Rural development is one of the most important social and economic parameters in developing countries that is particularly true in the case of Sudan, which is more effective because country side covers the largest portion of Sudan, Grazing and agriculture are the basic craft for the vast majority of the majority of population.

livestock raising and husbandry are essential in many parts.

The thesis covers basic issues of development strategy and planning in war plagued Darfur, whereas it is considered as an answer to social cohesion and peace, The study analyze some development schemes in historical achievement and available resources .

the argument centered on monitoring and assessment potential use, benefits and damage.

Comparative of rural development projects in the British countryside were carried out with rural development in Darfur that highlighted similarities and differences , in order to corroborate our study in Darfur, field surveys were conducted analytical structure was improvised.

The analysis of selected variable was built on descriptive and correlating facts, the variables were classified in to four groups.

The analysis reveals that similar development can be conducted in Darfur, provided that socioeconomic contribution from the population and commitment from the central government are required for that to succeed.
