هذا البحث يقدم نظامين للتعرف الأوتوماتيكي على الهوية باستخدام صور الوجه.
في النظام الأول استخدم طريقة تحليل المركبات الأساسية و ذلك لضغط حجم بيانات الصور و أيضا لاستخلاص السمات الأساسية للصور.
و في النظام الثاني استخدم تحليل المويجات لضغط حجم بيانات الصور قبل استخلاص السمات بطريقة تحليل المركبات الأساسية.
مع كل نظام استخدمت طريقتان للتمييز بين الصور بقياس المسافة بين السمات للعينات التي تم تدريب النظام عليها و بين السمات للصور المراد التحقق من هويتها.
النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها من برامج المحاكاة بالحاسب الآلي على قاعدة بيانات (ORL) لجامعة كامبرج أثبتت تفوق النظام الثاني الذي استخدم فيه ضغط الصور بتحويل المويجات عن النظام الأول الذي استخدم فيه طريقة تحليل المركبات الأساسية فقط.
هذا مع العلم بأن النتائج المستنتجة لطريقة المركبات الأساسية فقط مطابقة لمثيلاتها في الأبحاث المنشورة.
Abstract EN
This paper presents two types of identity verification systems based on face images.
In the first system principle component analysis (PCA) is used for dimensionality reduction and feature extraction whereas in the second system wavelet transform is used for dimensionality reduction and (PCA) for feature extraction.
Two types of classifiers, the Euclidean distance and Angle distance, are used with both systems.
Comparative study by computer simulation showed that the addition of wavelet transform before (PCA) provides better performance in the case of Euclidean distance classifier.
Moreover, the results obtained by (PCA) are in agreement with those reported in literatures.
