English Abstract

-This study investigate class (A) jamming parameters for mobile network.

The objective was to simulate jamming signal, using type (A) jammer to send a signal with the same frequency and different amplitude received by the mobile instead of the service provider signal.

This signal does not carry any useful information to the mobile phone. The study design was guided by the specific research objectives.

This includes using MATLAB software package to simulate how the jammer works in GSM.

As a result the study realized that adding the jammer increased in the Bit Error Rate (BER), which makes the mobile phone unable to take advantage of this signal sent from the service provider. The results obtained from the simulation model showed that the distortion of the signal sent from the service provider and thus the mobile phone became blocked.

So it may be possible to use this device in specific places where silence is appreciated
