The hydroxyethylceliLilose hydrogels were prepared by its chemh evpsdinking using glyneralddivde, and tetrmiivLhyioturea resin in ihe presence sulfuric acid.
Several tablets were prepared as polymeric matrix and polymeric reservoir systems from hydroxyctliyl ccllulose hydrogels, loaded with Metfortt hydrochloride in several ration (25 %, 14 %, 50 % wtAvQ.TTie two polymeric mat systems were prepared by compression molding And jjp coating proc< respectively.
The release rate of Metformin hydrochloride from polymeric matrix devices u studied by using U.V.
technique at constant temperature (37CC).
Thu tiffed off on the release rate of Meiformin hydrochloride in (PBS.
pi 1 = 7,4), SGF .
nnd S wns studied.
The swelling behavior of some prepared samples was also studies the result showed greater increase in swelling rnlio nt lower pH values.
