المشكلات السلوكية الشائعة لدى طلبة بطيني العلم في غرف المصادر في المدارس الأساسية في إقليم الجنوب في الأردن

Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to explore common behavioral problems of slow learning students in resource rooms in the basic schools, based on teachers’ and parents’ estimations.

Also the study attempted to explore the differences in these problems as related to gender and class.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher developed a valid and reliable External Estimation Inventory Scale.

A random sample consisting of (100) slow learners was selected, and their behavioral problems were estimated by their parents and teachers.

The results show that, slow learners have common behavioral problems ranked as follows: Dependency, low Self-esteem, Self-Centered, Defense mechanisms, Depression Hyperactivity, Sterotypic, Rebellious, Attention deficit Withdrawal, Shyness, Anxiety, and Aggression.

Also the results indicate significant differences between teachers’ and parents’ estimations with high estimation of female teachers related to male students problems, and finally the results indicate no significant differences based on gender, class, and the interaction between gender and class.
