Abstract EN

Bromonitrocylopropanes have been prepared by a Simmon –Smith-like reaction of alkenes and tribromonitromethane in acetonitrile containing Zn-Cu couple.

The new compounds were produced in high to moderate yields and their structures were characterized by: IR,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and elemental analysis.
