English Abstract

The Study Contents English Language Teaching in Sudan , and Theories and Techniques of Foreign Language Teaching , and the Communicative Language Teaching , and Adio Visual aids and Teacher Training.

The Study aims at Familiarizing English Language Teachers with key Aspects of Methodology.

The scope of the Research is Limited to the Area of methods , and it aims at Qualifying Teachers so as to raise students.

Academic and Communicative Standards , and Encouraging Teachers to a oid Traditional Methods and Emphasize on Communicative Methods and Techniques.

The study used Questionnaire of Twf lty Question on samples of Eighty English language teachers and Obser ation Cheek Liyt of thirty Statements, the stuffy findings presented in that traditionalism prevails in English language teaching field and teacher concentrate on false aims as and Analysis of grammar and finishing the textbook and Moreover teacher’s positive Attitude towards the task is particularly Essential to student’s success, the recommendations of study, which introduced in: they are abridged in English language teacher’s should be qualified with upper- service training and English language learning should start form the age of seven to obtain Competence , then an Eclectic methods biased towards the Communicative theory should be Applied to Contribute in English language teaching and learning in Sudan.
