English Abstract
The study attempts to Investigate the deficiencies and shed a light on the English Syllabuses of Secondary School and tries to evaluate English material of Spine book 6 to identify the crucial problems, and reflects the newly introduced English programme for the secondary school (spine 6).
In more relevant and appropriate to meet the Sudanese learner’s needs , interests and abilities in different settings.
The objective of the study is to evaluate the material of third year secondry school English Langauge programe form the substantive and methodological point of view, and it is to shed a light on the principles of evalution materials or the English language syllabus which might be useful for all those who find themselves involved in the field of English language teaching and Curriculum development.
The study uses the descriptive methodology.
And it's findings are making English language in secondary level clear, which greats a relationship with general Aims of Education in Sudan, and the Spine content.
Inspite of disorganizing og spine content, the programe is well integrated compared to English language (Nile Course).
