تم اشتقاق حل تقريبي لمنظومة تكاملية خطية لنوعي فريدهولم و فولتيرا باستخدام متسلسلة تيلر، و ذلك بتعويض متسلسلة تيلر بدل الدالة المجهولة بعد اشتقاق طرفي المنظومة الخطية.
طبقت هذه الطريقة لإيجاد حل تقريبي جيد للمسائل الصلبة (stiff problems) و تمت مقارنة نتائج طريقة تيلر مع طريقتي رنكة-كوتة و أويلر المطورة بالنسبة إلى هذه المسائل.
استخدمت لغة MATLAB للبرمجة و باستخدام أمثلة متنوعة أمكن ملاحظة دقة و استقرارية هذه الطريقة.
