يدرس هذا البحث الدور الأسلوبي للترادف في شعر وليام ووردزورث الذي يعد من رواد الشعر الرومانتيكي و واحد من أفضل من يمثله.
قام الباحثان باستقصاء دور الترادف الذي هو أحد العلاقات الدلالية التي تدرس في علم اللغة و خصوصا علم القواميس.
تركزت الدراسة على استعمال ما يسمى التحليل الجزيئي للكلمات في تحليل الترادف.
تم الوصول إلى نتائج هامة منها أن الترادف هو ميزة أسلوبية في شعر وليام ووردزورث، و هو أحد عناصر الاتساق المعنوي في النص خصوصا أنه يعبر عن الوحدة الفكرية (الثيمية) للنص الشعري على المستويين المحلي و العام.
Abstract EN
-This study deals with the role of synonyms in propounding the main themes in Wordsworth's poetry, who is considered one of the best representatives of the romantic poets.
Thus, his style can be a portrait for this movement.
