Abstract EN

Fast track surgery is a novel concept in perioperative care of patients undergoing elective surgical procedures that combines recent advances in anesthesia, new approaches to pain control, techniques that reduce the perioperative stress response and organ dysfunction, and the use of minimally invasive techniques.

These measures aimed to rapid mobilization, early feeding, rapid recovery, minimize complications, and shorter in-hospital stay.
