A study of oral malodor conducted among 2997 children, 6-7years of age which represents early mixed dentition in 20 primary schools in Baghdad city, comprising a study group with oral malodor MO+ 33 children (16) male, (17) female.

The other compared controlled subjects are (33) children without oral malodor MO- random sampling matching for both age and sex.

The purpose of the study is to examine and compare salivary bacteria in MO+ group and MO- group be conducting clinical and bacteriological examination.

The predominant of MO+ group bacterial isolates, Bacteroid fragilis (54.5 %), followed by peptococcus (33.3 %), veillonella (24.21 %) prophyromonas gingivalis (15.2 %).

Propionibacterium (15.2 %), prevotella oralis (12.1 %) prevotella.buccalis (9.1 %) and prevotella Intermedia (6.1 %).
