Green concretearegenerallycomposedofrecyclingmaterialsashundredorpartialpercent substitutes foraggregate,cement,andadmixtureinconcrete.Limestonewasteisobtainedasaby- product duringtheproductionofaggregatesthroughthecrushingprocessofrocksinrubblecrusher units.

Usingquarrywasteasasubstituteofsandinconstructionmaterialswouldresolvetheenviron- mental problemscausedbythelarge-scaledepletionofthenaturalsourcesofriverandminingsands.

This paperreportstheexperimentalstudyundertakentoinvestigatetheinfluenceofpartialreplace- ment ofsandwithlimestonewaste(LSW),withmarblepowder(M.P)asanadditiveontheconcrete properties.

Thereplacementproportionofsandwithlimestonewaste,25%,50%,and75%wereprac- ticed intheconcretemixesexceptintheconcretemix.Besides,proportionsof5%,10%and15%mar- ble powderwerepracticedintheconcretemixes.Theeffectsoflimestonewasteasfineaggregateon several freshandhardenedpropertiesoftheconcreteswereinvestigated.Theinvestigationincluded testing ofcompressivestrength,indirecttensilestrength,flexuralstrength,modulusofelasticity, and permeability.Itwasfoundthatlimestonewasteasfineaggregateenhancedtheslumptestof the freshconcretes.Buttheunitweightconcreteswerenotaffected.However,thegoodperformance was observedwhenlimestonewasteasfineaggregatewasusedinpresenceofmarblepowde
