الأهداف : تهدف الدراسة إلى تقيم تأثير مادة الاوستيون و البلازما غنية الصفيحلات و تأثير الجمع بين كلا منهما على الشفاء من عيوب العظام في الأرنب.
المواد و طرائق العمل : استخدم خمسة عشر من الأرانب المحلية في هذه الدراسة ؛ أجري (٤) عيوب عظمية في سيقان الأرانب.
قسمت هذه العيوب إلى أربع مجاميع المجموعة الأولى ملئت بمادة الاوستيون، و المجموعة الثانية ملئت بالبلازما غنية الصفيحات، و المجموعة الثالثة ملئت بمادة الاوستيون و البلازما الغنية بالصفيحات معا، و المجموعة الرابعة تركت شاغرة كمجموعة سيطرة تم جمع العينات خلال الأسبوع الأول، و الثاني، و الرابع، بعد العملية الجراحية.
استخدمت التقنيات الشعاعية و النسيجية لتقييم الشفاء، تبعا لكمية العظم الجديدة التي تكونت.
النتائج : توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الجمع بين مادة الاوستيون مع البلازما الغنية بالصفيحات أدت إلى تحقيق نتائج أفضل مقارنة بالمجموعات الأخرى في الأسبوع الأول فقط.
من ناحية أخرى أظهرت البلازما غنية الصفيحات وحدها نتيجة أفضل من مادة الاوستيون وحدها.
الاستنتاجات : نستنتج من الدراسة أن البلازما الغنية بالصفيحات لها تأثير مفيد على عملية الشفاء عند إضافتها إلى المواد البديلة للعظام.
Abstract EN
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of OSTEON, PRP and the combination of both of them on the healing of experimentally induced bone defects in rabbits.
Materials and Methods : Fifteen domestic rabbits were used in this study ; four bone defects were made in the tibia of each rabbit.
The defects were filled with OSTEON, PRP, OSTEON / PRP and the other left unfilled as control.
Specimens were collected at one, two and four weeks after surgery.
Radio graphical and histological examinations were used to evaluate healing depending of the amount of new bone formed.
Results : It was found that the OSTEON / PRP combination led to a significant healing compared to other groups at first week only.
On the other hand PRP alone showed better result than OSTEON alone in the three periods.
Conclusion : It was concluded that PRP plasma exert a beneficial effect on healing pro-cess when added to bone substitute material OSTEON.
