العوامل ذات الأهمية في قرار تعيين المحاسبيين الجدد : دراسة ميدانية على مؤسسات القطاع الخاص في الأردن

Abstract EN

This research aims at recognizing the most effective employee-selection factors in recruiting new accountants in the private Jordanian firms.

In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire was designed containing (38) factors divided into four groups.

These groups were related to educational factors, past experience, team work and personal factors.

The questionnaire was distributed among (85) private Jordanian firms, which covered the four market sectors (i.e., financial, industrial, commercial and service sectors).

To test the research hypotheses, the Mean and Standard Deviations statistical instruments were used.

The findings of the study proved that most decision markers (i.e.

recruiters) wrere male graduates-holding the first accounting degree and highly experienced.

The study showed that the recruiters employment-decisions were influenced by the aforementioned factors.

The personal factors were considered the most effective, followed by team work, past experience, and educational factors.

The findings highlighted differences that are statistically significant in the factors related to team work and their impact on the decision of recruiting new' accountants to the various sectors.

Such differences are in favor of financial and commercial sectors over the industrial one.
