الهدف من هذا البحث هو دراسة نموذج الاستثمار و التسعير لمباراة تفاضلية طرحه الباحثان (DOCKNER & JORGENSEN) و ذلك من خلال حل المقترح الذي طرحاه و المتمثل بأن تكون الكلف الحدية للمنافس متغيرة بدلاً من الثابتة.
و قد تضمن البحث أيضاً إجراء مقارنة للحالتين بأعضاء قيم افتراضية للمعلمات بهدف بيان أثر ذلك في سياسة اللاعبين.
