A group contribution method is developed to predict physical properties of hydrocarbons in terms of carbon atom number.

These correlations are used to estimate the physical properties of petroleum fractions obtained by TBP distillation.

Comparison of experimental and other prediction methods with the results of the proposed method reveals quite good agreements
