Abstract EN
Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is an efficient means of separating solids from liquids by extracting suspended solids to the surface for removal.
A patented air-dissolving system has been developed for use in laboratory bench-study and field pilot-scale stodies.
This system evaluates the removal efficiency when remediating the groundwater of a RCRA (Resources Conservation and Recover Act) site (SITE) for solids and metals.
The DAF effluent has been found to yield a turbidity as ١٠١٧ as 4 NTU compared to 7-10 NTU obtained from the current sedimentation process.
