Abstract EN

-Thermal properties, specific heat capacity’ (Cp), thermal conductivity (j), and thermal diffusitivity (a) of Spinel Ferrite Mgi-, Fe:.,, Ti, 04 (t = 0.15.

0.25, 0.35 and 0.45) were measured in the temperature range 300 -1000 K.

Specific heat capacity measurements indicate the presence of magnetic phase transition from ferrimagnetic to paramagnetic phase at high temperatures.

The Curie temperature (Tc) decreases as the concentration of the ion increases.

The mechanism of heat transfer in the magnetic transition is due to both to phonons and the magnons , whereas below and above the magnetic transition it is due to phonons only
