Abstract EN

Images can be processed by integrating diffusion-based differential equations.

Generally diffusion smoothes edges and comers, thereby blurring important visual information.

Patterns can be stabilized by incorporating reaction terms into the differential equations.

This paper shows a way how to design the parameters of the reaction-diffusion equation such that specific modes become stable.
