-Compounds of Cu(ln xGa 1 - x)3 Se5 were grown by reacting Cu, In, Ga and Se in various ratios.
The X-rav diffraction measurements showed a shift of the whole peaks when the composition x varies from 0 to 1.
The characteristic peaks of the chalcopyrite structure disappear and are not exhibited in the compositions ( x 0, x = 0.4 and x = 0.6).
A structural transition is established and the values of the lattice parameters ( a and c) where found lo increase as the indium content is increased.
