استخدمت الأبعاد و السرعات القطرية لعدد 1136 نجم من نجوم النوع الطيفي بي التي تزيد شدة لمعانها عن 10 أقدار نجمية و الواقعة بالقرب من مستوى المجرة (+10 درجات ≥ العرض المجري ≥ - 10 درجات) لتعيين منحنى دوران المجرة في المنطقة المحصورة ما بين 7 و 13 كيلوبارسك عن مركز المجرة.
و لقد وجدنا بأن هذا المنحنى يشبه تماما منحنى الدوران الذي تم اشتقاقه من القيفاويات المتغيرة.
كما أنه يتفق مع المنحنى النظري المشتق من النماذج الديناميكية.
Abstract EN
Radial velocities and distances of 1136 B-type stars brighter than 10 mag.
and lying close to the galactic plane (–10º ≤ b ≤ 10º) are used to determine the rotation curve of our Galaxy in the region 7-13 kpc from the galactic center.
The derived curve is found to be similar to that obtained from Cepheids Variables and in good agreement with the theoretical curve obtained from dynamical models.
