It has contributed in the advancement of medicine for the past three decades.

Cell and molecular biology techniques are employed in the study of disease pathogenesis, tissue transplantation, pharmaceutical, diagnosis, and therapy.

Although molecular biology techniques are relatively new and due to daily advancement they have imposed their importance in the modern medicine.

Nowadays, in most countries molecular medicine has become a necessity rather than a luxury.
