Abstract EN
Paroxetine (PaxilR) a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used in the treatment of depression is secreted into breast milk.
Hyponatremia due to inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone is a common side effect of SSRI's.
We report a case of severe hyponatremia in an infant caused by maternal intake of paroxetine.
