Tlie rhetorical functions of prepositons and conjunctions in AL-Hadith Annabawi (The Prophetic Tradition).

Prepositions are of paramount importance in depicting and clarifying meanings.

They coordinate nouns with nouns and verbs with verbs.

Besides, they have lexical and an sejantic functions in the Arabic rhetoric.

Some of the Arab Linguists say that succession of prepositions is not acceptable because they lose their meanings.

Prepositions are characterized by the diversity of their meanings; therefore, the context determines the intended meaning.

1 chose three of the prophet's sayings that have many prepositions and conjunctions.

The research highlights the theoretical rhetorical functions of prepositions and conjunctions in selected Hadiths.

In this research, I followed the analytical method which depends on analyzing texts and linking prepositions and conjunctions with the context of Hadith.
