Abstract AR
تعتبر متلازمة النفق الرسغي من أكثر أمراض انضغاط الأعصاب شيوعا.
و يتسبب وضع الرسغ المنثني للأيدي المتيبسة لمرضى الفالج في الضغط على العصب المتوسط عند مستوى النفق الرسغي مع حدوث اختلال في وظيفته.
و قد كان هدف هذه الدراسة هو تقييم نسبة حدوث اختلال وظيفة العصب المتوسط مرضى الفالج.
و قد اشتملت هذه الدراسة على خمسين مريضا من مرضى الفالج، شفهم يعانون من تيبس بالأيدي في وضع الثني للرسغ و مقارنتهم بالنمش الآخر و الذين كانوا يعانون من ارتخاء بالأيدي.
و أيضا اشتملت الدراسة على عشرين شخصا طبيعيين كمجموعة ضابطة تم تقييم جميع المشتركين في الدراسة إكلينيكيا و أيضا بالفحوصات الكهربائية للطرفين العلويين لاختبار توصيل كلا من العصب المتوسط و الزندى عبر الرسغ و المرفق.
و قد تم جمع النتائج و جدولتها و تم تحليلها إحصائيا لتوضيح نسبة اختلال وظيفة العصب المتوسط في مرضى الفالج.
Abstract EN
Fifty consecutive randomly selected hemiplegic patients were included in this study.
Half of them had flexed spastic hands and the other half had flaccid hands for comparison of the results.
Twenty normal individuals were also included in the study as controls.
Full clinical and electrodiagnostic assessment were performed on both upper extremities for all patients.
Electrodiagnostic assessment included measuring both median and ulnar nerves, sensory and motor conduction across the wrist and elbows bilaterally.
The results were collected, tabulated, and statistically analyzed to express the prevalence of median nerve dysfunction in hemiplegic patients.
