For the purpose of comparing test-retest reliability.
Pure tom audiometry with a step si-^e of2dB and 5 dB by using the ascending technique was carried out on 10 otologically normal male subjects, aged between 25-30years.
Statistical analysis of the overall estimated deviation obtained with the different step si^es showed no significant differences.
