Abstract EN
A large variety of methods are available for the determination of change in lubricating oil during servies.
capillary gas chromatography was utilized to identification the four categories of engine oils, virgin, used, recyclic and oil which extracted from multicomponent resin.
These samples cover the full range of lubricating oils, thus, the hydrocarbon groups distribution for the above- mention oils were studied.
The percent of naphthenes increased in the used oil, however that of paraffins fraction appeared in the use oil.
The oil extracted from multicomponent resin after treatment, may contains synthetic biogenic compounds.
On other hand, the percent of pristine and phytane increased markedly in used oil.
We conclude that, capillary gas chromatography provides valuable information on the constituent of oils and give view on the behavior of oils during application.
