Abstract EN

The generalized Euler equation arising by solving variational problems for functionals with deviating argument are second order nonlinear functional-differential equations of the divergent type.

Existence and uniqueness theorem for boundary value problems for equations of this type with asymmetric boundary conditions is proved in this paper.
