Approximate solutions and error bounds for coupled boundary value systems of partial differential equations

Abstract EN

Coupled boundary value systems of second order partial differential equations are studied.

First an infinite series solution of the problem is given.

Then by truncation of the series we obtain approximate computable solutions and error bounds in terms of the data.

Given an admissible error e and a finite domain D, we construct an approximate solution with error smaller than e uniformly in D.
