وجد أن الثوم (Allium sativum) له القدرة على تثبيط نمو العديد من الفطريات-في المعمل-المعزولة من الشعر، و الجلد، و الأظافر.
و لقد تم استخدام تراكيز (5 %، 15 %، 30 %، 40 %، 50 %) من مستخلص الثوم، و شرائح الثوم، و مطحون طازج للثوم في المعمل لبيان أثره على الفطريات.
و لقد وجد أنه لم تسجل أية كمية من النمو لجميع العزلات عند استخدام تراكيز للثوم أكثر من 30 %.
Abstract EN
Allium sativunt (garlic) was found to inhibit the growth of several hair, skin and snail fungal isolates (Derrnatophytes) in vitro.
It was used as 50 / 0.
15 %, 300 / 0, 400/0 and 50 % water garlic extract, garlic disc and ground fresh garlic in Sabarhaud's glucose agar media.
There were no growth for all isolates organisms when treated by different phases of garlic.
