The absorption of the 7F6 manifold of the europium ethylsulphate was investigated and all the expected lines were observed.
Zeeman splitting m of (7F6) of one level was investigated too.
The crystal field symmetry was proved to be C3h.
Theoritical calculation and experimental results show excellent agreement.
