لقد جرى استخدام طريقتين لدراسة التسرب في حوض تخزين لسد تغذية للمكامن الجوفية بالمياه (استعاضة)-لقد اعتمدت الطريقة الأولى على معادلات (جرين و آمبت)، بينما اعتمدت الطريقة الثانية على نموذج (الميزانية المائية) لحوض التخزين.

و قد أعطت الطريقتان نتائج متقاربة لعمق التسرب التراكمي حتى وصول الماء المتسرب إلى المياه الجوفية.

و كان تقدير الطريقة الأولى (جرين و آمبت) أفضل من الثانية عند حساب معدلات التسرب اليومية المتوسطة، كما أن هذه الطريقة بنيت على أسس فيزيائية أفضل، و بالإمكان استعمالها كجزء من نموذج تغذية شامل.

Abstract EN

Two approaches are used to study infiltration in a recharge dam reservoir.

The first is based on the Green and Ampt infiltration equations while the second uses a water budget for the reservoir.

The two models gave comparable estimates of the cumulative infiltration depths up to the arrival of the wetting front at the water table.

The average daily infiltration rates predicted by the infiltration model were more consistent than those obtained using the water budget method.

The infiltration approach is also more physically-based and can be incorporated in a recharge model.
