Abstract EN
This paper is concerned with the behaviour of non-Newtonian fluid under constant pressure gradient through a straight, corrugated pipe of circular cross- section* We used a class of generalized Newtonian models which includes a dependence on the third invariant of the deformation tensor* Four viscosity functions have been used to demonstrate the effect of extensional - thickening and shear-thinnning upon such flow.
A finite difference technique has been used to solve the resulting equations.
