Our purpose in this paper is to develop a new conjugate gradient algorithm which uses a quasi-quadratic function.
The algorithm is similar to one previously proposed by the author.
See (Ref.5), but here we develop a version of the method which requires no linear searches and uses a new scaling factor.
Application to well known test functions of the new version shows that this version is superior to other versions of the method.
