Abstract EN

Some soil microorganisms can produce streptomycin in vitro.

Streptomyces griseus and S.

scabies were examined for their ability to produce streptomycin under oligocarbotrophic conditions.

The amount of streptomycin was increased by increasing the concentration of used carbon source (scrouse).

There wasn't any production of streptomycin when the concentration of scrouse was 0-20 |xg ml' i in the media.
