Abstract EN

The vegetation and the flora of Karak province (Jordan) have been studied over the past few years to assess the biological diversity as well as the vegetation status.

A total number of 545 species belonging to 327 genera and 63 families arc recorded.

Fifteen of these species are new i to the list: of1 Jordan Vascular Plants, Inscription of the present status of the vegetation regions as well as remarks on soil, land use, human activities ahd sbciqeconornics are recorded.
