-This note provides some necessary corrections for the concept and design of the hydraulic analog method introduced by Zhang and Hau to simulate nth-order reaction kinetics.

It attempts to show that Zhang and Hau have made a basic mistake in the design of the hydraulic analog of nonlinear reactions and consequently in the simulated kinetic data interpretations, and to provide the proper hydraulic analog design to simulate these types of reacitons.
