Abstract EN

The anodic oxidation of Fe(IT) and the cathodic reduction of Fe(TIl) were studied in different volume percentage (0-80%) of DMSO-water mixtures, using cyclic voltammetric techniques at Pt electrode.

All the obtained cyclic voltammograms indicated that the charge transfer processes are reversible.

The electrokinetic parameters have been calculated.

It was found that the values of the rate constant for the charge transfer, the conditional potential and diffusion coefficient decreased with increasing the proportion of DMSO in the mixture.
