نقدم الخبرة المكتسبة من إجراء 257 حالة استئصال روتيني للمرارة في مستشفى الملك خالد الجامعي بالرياض.
نسبة إصابة الرجال إلى النساء كانت ١ : ٧ ,٤ و هي مشابهة لمثيلاتها في الغرب، و لكن المرض بدأ نسائنا السعوديات في سن مبكرة عن النساء في الدول الغربية.
لوحظ ارتفاع نسبة الإصابة بالتهاب الكبد الوبائي حيث بلغت 7.7 % و كانت عالية في الرجال على وجه الخصوص حيث بلغت 17.7 %.
تجرثم السائل الصفراوي و تعفن الجرح بعد العملية التي أجريت للمرضى المصابين بتليف الكبد كانت منفقة مع خبرة الدول الغربية.
Abstract EN
The experience with 257 cases of elective holecystectomy done at King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh is presented.
Male to female ratio of 1: 4.7 was similar to Western experience, but the disease is affecting our Saudi females at significantly lower age.
A high incidence of hepatitis was noted (7.7 %) with a significant higher incidence in the males (17.7 %) Bacteriobilia and wound infection incidence were similar to the [nterna-tional Standard.
The increased morbidity noticed in cirrhotics was not diffe-rent from that reported in western series.
