A simple,sensitive and rapid method based on the application of the differential-pulse polarography of the diazonium salt of o-,m and p-toluidine for the determination of trace amount of nitrite is described.
The experimental detection limit is shown to be 4.0 x 10_ M (as NO simple aqueous solution.The method is further used to determine concentrations of o- ,m- and p-toluidine down to 4.0 x 1 O'6 M under optimum condition.
