A 221 specimens of hepaticand pulmonary hydatid-cystflåids were collected from human and other intermediate hOSts (gamels, cattle, sheep and goats).

Using differen- tial tests and numerical uxonomy analysis, it was determined that the bacteria found in the infected hydatid cyst fluids were: coli, spp., Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp.s Serratia spp., SalmQnella Spp., Shigglla spp., Streptococcus spp., and spp.

fie existing ratio of these bacteria was varied in different intermediate hosts.

The infected hydatid cysts varied in its nature arid location in the body of the inter- mediate hosts.
