Suyuti's use of evidence from Various Quranic Readings : A phonological study.

This research aitris at revealing Al- suyuti Various ways of argumentation by using the Qunanic Readings in order to prove his claims about phonological issues.

I have limited this research to the discussion of the phonological issues rather than to syntactical, mdrphological/or the semantical issues.

The phonological problems are divided by modern linguists to problems related to Vowels (harakat), laws of language development in addition to Arabic dialects and phonologic change.

I have studied the above Subjects in the light of what has been reached by the modernists using contemporary research methods.

I hope that this research has covered most of the phonetical issues and that it has added to the library of AL- Suyuti some thing which might reveal his scientific program.
