Abstract EN
The addition of phenol to benzil di - Schiff basp|3De) In ft - heptane or ethanol resulted in the disappearance of the original u.
v.
absorption band and tfie generation of a new band at longer wavelength.
This was attributed to hydrogen bond formation between the BOB molecule and phenol.
The effect of temperature on the equilibrium constant and other thermodynamic parameters for the interaction of BD8 - phenol system have also been considered.
